Ellwood Thompson’s is having their first ever photo contest. The theme is pumpkins, and the contest ends tomorrow, October 29th. No time is given for the deadline, so you probably want to contact them to be sure.

Here are the rules:

1. You must live within 100 miles of the store, especially if you want to pick up your prize (if you win of course).

2. The photo must contain a pumpkin or pumpkins in it. However, this isn’t just a pumpkin carving contest. Let your photo express your view of fall, your love for October and especially your love for pumpkins. It could be an early morning shot as the sun is rising over a pumpkin field or your home-made pumpkin pie coming out of the oven; it’s up to you, get creative.

3. Photos must be in digital format and at least 1000 pixels wide. Please submit photographs to pumpkins@ellwoodthompsons.com and MAKE SURE to include the following:

Full name, address, phone number, alternate phone number, e-mail, age, what type of camera you used, and finally a brief description of your photograph or caption for it. Once we have the photo, we will submit it to our Flickr page where you can view all of the entries and leave comments if you want.

The winner will be chosen on Friday, October 29th. He or she will receive a free Bell & Evan’s All-Natural Free-Range Thanksgiving Turkey.

If you have any questions, please contact Miles at mquillen@ellwoodthompsons.com or Maggie at mshifflett@ellwoodthompsonscom.
