Are you looking for the very soul of summer in an easy to imbibe format? How about something so fresh it has been created by the very freshest bartender in town? Then, behold, the Hot Garden Stomp! Brought to life by Richmond’s favorite bartender: Brandon Peck. If you love America you’ll stop by Ipanema sometime and give it a taste. Don’t, and the terrorists win.

The Hot Garden Stomp

  • Bulliet bourbon
  • Four thin slices of fresh ginger
  • Three or four leaves of basil

  • Simple syrup
  • Soda water

  1. SO FRESH!!!

  2. That looks delicious!

  3. Who took these pictures? They look great :)

  4. My girlfriend and I have been drinking something similar to this all summer. Change the bourbon to gin, remove the ginger (or don’t) and replace soda with tonic and there ya go!

I’m very interested to try this drink as I am a die hard bourbon fan.

  5. @Lauren, they are by our fabulous photo intern Mel Kobran. She deserves a photo credit, which I’ve added!
