Caribbean Seafood and Jamaican Jerk House open on Westover Hill Blvd.

Open six days a week from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Third time has got to be charm, right? Dixie Chicken made a valiant effort, Beagle’s BBQ gave it a half-hearted shot but now we’ve got a new restauranteur that has moved into 1203 Westover Hills Boulevard.

I found out last night thanks to Bryce Lyle and swung by this morning to take the pictures, hence the not so high quality. The pictures give you all the information I have at this time. My plan is to stop by next week and give the food a try. If you’ve been by speak up and give us the scoop.

tried this place today. 18 Apr 2014

oxtail meal– lots of great tasting rice and peas (more than enough for at least two meals); cooked just-right rice — not mushy, really seasoned like I like, and fresh tasting. loved the mixed veggies. Jerk chicken meal. OM, what can I say? exceptional meal — REAL jerk seasoning. (ordered the same sides: peas and rice, with mixed veggies. Will definitely be a weekly must for my family.

Sprung for the seafood platter tonight – everything was amazing – fish, scallops, two kinds of shrimp, hush puppies and veggies. Enough for two people.

    Super nice people!!!

  4. We had folks over for dinner to test it out. There were 4 adults and 3 children (one with a VERY adult appetite) We got the jerk chicken, fried oyster, spiced shrimps, fried fish of the day, oxtail and the curried goat. The goat seemed a bit brave to me but our guest wanted it so we ordered it. We all shared. It was amazing. We had enough food left over for dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (yep, one is the big eater) and still have rice and cabbage left. There was not one thing we all did not like. So happy to have a new choice!
