Qdoba is running a cool promotion today: “$1 Burrito Fundraising Special.”
At all Richmond Qdoba locations between 5pm and 7pm if you donate one dollar to the Starlight Children’s Foundation they’ll give you a chicken or vegetarian burrito in exchange. So you get to consume a giant burrito for a teeny price and help out a cause — all at the same time!

Just went by there….the line was out the door!!
As Stomp Stomp Dave and I stood in line on the sidewalk for our $1 Qdoba burritos yesterday evening, I could not help but wonder if this was part of disconnect- restaurant bargains vs. rising food prices globally.
