It seems that a BBQ spot has mysteriously closed-down shop; if you like oysters you want might want to wear you XL pants this weekend because they’re going to be raw, steamed, fried, and frittered for your choosing; a special beer tasting tonight is going to help wash away the rainy blues, and we have you last chance to enjoy patios before Old Man Winter comes around.
Looks like another local barbecue restaurant has closed down. According to Style Weekly, Double T’s Barbecue in Carytown closed down on September 17th. No word on the reason why yet, but we are working to get those details your way.
If you love oysters you do NOT want to miss the 4th annual Shockoe-on-the-Halfshell. Oysters will be served every way imaginable including raw, steamed, fried, frittered, and more. If you consider oysters “sea boogers,” then there will also be barbecue, hamburgers, and hotdogs available. Head down to the 17th Street Farmers market this Saturday the 24th from 11am – 4pm.
Love Belgium beers? Tobacco Company has you covered TONIGHT! Cooler weather is starting to move into RVA, so we have limited days to enjoy those patios we all adore so much. A quick reminder of our top ten patios in Richmond. Make an effort to hit up one (or six) of these before it is officially jacket and scarf weather.
