Bandito’s Burrito Lounge kicking butts January 15th

The Devil’s Triangle restaurant and bar will finally banish indoor smoking.

Following on the heels of another longtime restaurant–Patrick Henry Pub–going smoke free, Bandito’s Burrito Lounge will kick the habit on January 15th, according to a post on their Facebook page. The Tex-Mex restaurant, located in a former service station in the Devil’s Triangle area of the Museum District, currently has separate smoking and smoke-free areas.

Bandito’s is one of just a few holdouts left to offer smoking sections among the Richmond restaurant and bar scene since a state law mandating that restaurants offer separately ventilated smoking and non-smoking areas went into effect in 2009.

RVANews’ Richard Hayes reported on Patrick Henry Pub’s smoking ban late last year. it went into effect on New Year’s Day 2016.
