It’s almost November, and restaurants all around are introducing fall menu items (if the weather ever decides to catch up). Next week, Olio will prepare seasonally appropriate dishes made with the best local, organic, and imported gourmet ingredients for their November 5th wine dinner. Reflecting Olio’s casual style, the dinner often feels more like a gathering at a friend’s house than a stuffy fine dining event. Many of their regulars met some of their closest friends at Olio’s dinners, simply by having been seated at the same table.

This month they’ll welcome Genevelyn Steele, an old friend of the restaurant, to direct the wine pairing, which starts at 6pm sharp and will be $30 a person, including tax but not gratuity. Call 804.355.5182 with any major credit card to book your seats.

Death by chocolate ala Olio: lots and lots of decadent chocolate, with a side of chocolate
