ABC Stores think your Virginia booze needs more cowbell
I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell! …And booze?
Following on the heels of a popular promotion in which customers received a free Virginia is for Lovers trucker hat with the purchase of Virginia wine and spirits, area ABC Stores have changed their promotion to tie in with The Bike Bike Race™.
On September 4th, 35 Richmond-area ABC stores began offering free “Virginia is for Lovers” cowbells–the noisemaker of choice for professional cycling events–with the purchase of a 750mL or larger bottle of Virginia-made wines or craft spirits.
“This will be a fun way for Richmonders to get in on the UCI Road World Championships action while shopping local and showing their ‘Virginia is for Lovers’ pride,” said Caroline Logan, Director of Corporate Communications for Virginia Tourism Corporation.
Cowbells are in limited supply, so stop by and get yours before they run out.
