1. 40th Annual Greek Festival

Awwww, baby’s first baklava! Part of the proceeds from this year’s festival will go to Richmond Friends of the Homeless; C2Adopt; Autism Society Central Virginia; and Elijah House Academy.

2. Bikes: Science on Two Wheels

Oh man, I know so many bike nerds who are gonna be so stoked about this. Check out a diverse collection of historic, rare, and just plain weird bikes as you learn about the science and innovation behind this mode of transportation that’s been shaking up how people live, play, and work since the 19th century

3. Mark Nizer Experience

There will be juggling, there will be music, there will be…lasers? Well, I guess if the world “Experience” is in the title of the show, lasers are to be expected.

4. Inclusive LEGO and Game Club

Children of all abilities in grades K through 8th are invited to take part in Autism Society Central Virginia’s monthly Inclusive LEGO and Game Club. They’ll have thousands (yes, THOUSANDS) of LEGO on hand, as well as board games and card games for the kids to play with.

5. PAWS to R.E.A.D.

Bernard–an official and experienced Reading Education Assistance Dog–will take appointments with new readers this weekend, allowing them a fun, snuggly, and judgement-free space to practice (and build confidence in) their literacy skills.
