5 Things for Families

Quick! Get outside and do stuff before Richmond realizes August is (almost) here and turns into a Hellmouth!

5. 31st National Night Out

2014’s National Night Out–you know, when you and your neighbors spend time together outside to show ne’re-do-wells that you won’t tolerate any riffraff–is next Tuesday. If you haven’t decided what you’ll be doing that evening, check with your civic association for options, keep an eye on your community news site for events, or, heck, even get your own thing going–and if you do end up organizing something, make sure to register it with the RPD so they can help spread the word and maybe even stop by to say hey. Like in a good way.
