The big thing this weekend is the CAA tournament! Go Rams go! But, don’t fret, there’s still plenty to do for those of you who aren’t basketball fans! FEAR NOT!

1. CAA Tournament

Ok, so maybe VCU has replaced the nation’s longest home-win streak with losing four of the last five. WHAT OF IT? The Rams still have a decent chance of getting to the Big Dance — they just have to win on Saturday (and then several other times). VCU takes on the winner of Drexel and Towson at 2.30pm. Be there!

2. First Friday’s

I’m going to do it, and you can’t stop me: this is the first Spring First Friday. Sure it might only be, like, 48 degrees out but IT IS STILL SPRING I SAY. So put on your windbreakers, grab a taco, and look at some art!

3. Live at Ipanema: Anousheh Khalili

Guys, it’s Richmond’s best free acoustic show that you can then, later, relive via the ones-and-zeroes! This week Live at Ipanema features Anousheh Khalili, who is just about as charming as you can get.

4. Richmond Famous: Tom Silvestri

Richmond’s favorite publisher (well, maybe second favorite publisher) is giving a lecture on transformation Wednesday. OK, OK, this isn’t a weekend event, but it seems like it might be pretty awesome! After the lecture he’ll join the Richmond Comedy Coalition in a sketch they call Richmond Famous (think UCB’s ASSSSCAT). This will probably be unbelievable.

5. Super Why! at C-MoR

Hip hip hooray, the Super Readers save the day. We change the story, we solved the problem, we etc etc etc. The cast of Super Why! is all present and accounted for this week at the Children’s Museum — bring the kids! ALPHA PIG!
