Stop by Virginia Union University this Saturday and cheer on the young athletes competing in Richmond’s Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities annual Youth Football Championship Games. All games are free and open to the public. The schedule is as follows:

9 a.m. – Junior Varsity Midget Championship Game (11-year-olds)

10 a.m. – Junior Division Championship Game (ages 13, 14 & 15)

11:45 a.m. – Midget Division Championship Game (ages 11 and 12)

1 p.m. – Peewee Division Championship Game (ages 9 and 10)

2:30 p.m. – Junior Varsity Peewee Championship Game (ages 8 and 9)
