Join 97.3 Richmond Indie Radio, in collaboration with Curated Culture, for the 3rd Annual “Party for the Rest of Us,” at the First Fridays Artwalk on February 1st, 7 p.m. – midnight in the Renaissance Ballroom, 107 W. Broad Street.

WRIR first hit the airwaves in January 2005 with its mission to be a true community radio station, airing unrepresented news, music and views to provide a platform for cultural diversity in Richmond. The all-volunteer station broadcasts locally produced music shows, talk and news 24 hours a day. During its third year, WRIR made improvements to its tower to improve reception and to reach more of the community.

The bands performing on stage at this year’s bash will be:

“Prepare for an incredible night,” said Mike Rutz, the local music director for WRIR. “The Renaissance ballroom is spectacular and the bands are psyched to play such a unique venue. Admission: $10 donation.

All proceeds benefit WRIR and Curated Culture’s First Fridays. Contact Mike Rutz with questions.
