Richmond Police Department and Do Not Cross Tape

At approximately 7:15 PM on Saturday, March 29, the Richmond Police Department received a report of a domestic assault in the 400 block of W. Charity Street in Gilpin Court. Officers arrived to find an adult female suffering from a stab wound. Her wound is not considered life threatening. The RPD closed several roads near the residence while they attempted to make contact with an adult male still inside the residence. The SWAT team entered the residence and found an adult male suffering from a non-life-threatening self-inflicted wound.
