Wine bar, two new retailers coming to The Shops at Willow Lawn

A local footwear store expands its footprint this fall, a kids’ haircut chain plans a new location, and a new-to-Richmond wine bar opens next month.

The Shops at Willow Lawn, which continues to grow following recent major renovations, announced two new retailers and a wine bar have snapped up space in the open air shopping center.

Local footwear retailer Lucky Foot and kids’ haircut chain Pigtails & Crewcuts will open storefronts this fall, and small chain Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar will open its doors August 3rd. These three merchants will be located in the building housing American Tap Room and Zoës Kitchen, according to Willow Lawn management.

Lucky Foot is expanding from their current location in Midlothian to offer personalized service to runners and walkers in the Richmond Metro area. In addition to shoes and running supplies, the business offers complete full body motion analyses with the aim of helping runners prevent injury and keep their exercise regimens simple and fun.

Owner Jeff Van Horn has even created a special iPad application that records a runner’s gait and allows him to assess their style. Lucky Foot will be analyzing their first runners at Willow Lawn in the fall of this year.

Pigtails & Crewcuts is expanding their Richmond footprint beyond the far West End and Midlothian to offer the full salon experience to Willow Lawn’s younger clientele. From simple haircuts to styling and products, Pigtails & Crewcuts offers kid-friendly salon services at an affordable price. Pigtails & Crewcuts will also be opening this fall.

Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar will be opening on August 3rd, serving up contemporary American Italian fare paired with an extensive handpicked selection of wines. The restaurant will offer off-premise catering, private dining, family-style dining, as well as a sizable selection of gluten-free menu items.

So excited to see Lucky Foot is coming to this area! I don’t mind the trip to Midlo but it is nice having them within a 10 minute drive of me :)
