From Councilman Pritchett: The next ward meeting will be held at 6:30 PM at Vernon Johns Junior High School. A very important presentation will be made by the Virginia Attorney Generals staff about the gang problems we have in Petersburg and the State of Virginia. Our Chief of Police John Dixon and our Commonwealth’s Attorney Burns will also participate. The program will also include a DVD movie presentation made in Petersburg and Virginia about the gangs in our mist and what we can do to combat them.
Please inform your neighbors who may not be on my email list to attend this very important meeting. This is a joint ward meeting between School Board Chairman Kenneth L. Pritchett and me. This is an urgent matter and we need your attendance.
For those of you that might not know the location of Vernon Johns, it is behind the high school on Homestead Drive.
