Vehicle of interest sought in sexual assault investigation

In the early morning hours of June 1, officers responded to a local hospital for a report of a sexual assault that occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of Lumkin Avenue.

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the vehicle in the attached photo and its driver, both of which are being sought in connection with a sexual assault that occurred last Wednesday.

In the early morning hours of June 1, officers responded to a local hospital for a report of a sexual assault that occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of Lumkin Avenue.

The vehicle of interest is believed to be a dark-colored Dodge Durango with a work ladder on the roof. The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a white T-shirt at the time of offense.
