Virginia Commonwealth University’s Jamal Shuler (pictured above) and Michael Anderson will be among an expected sixty athletes participating May 26-28 in the VCU SportsCenter International Showcase 2008.

The event gives players who are out of collegiate eligibility a chance to compete in front of scouts for overseas teams. Twenty-five scouts are expected to attend. East Carolina’s Cory Rouse earned a contract in Germany at the last Showcase in 2006. He is now among the top players in his league.

Games begin at 4:45 p.m. on May 26. Admission is free. More information is available by clicking here.
