The Uptown Association meets TONIGHT, May 7, at 6PM at Pearl Raw Oyster Bar:
On the agenda is a discussion of making more parking available at the GRTC bus barn as well as the upcoming street art festival to be held at the site. CARITAS will also make a presentation on collecting discarded furniture that result from renters’ spring clean out.
The Uptown Association represents the residents and businesses on West Main Street, West Cary Street and Parkwood Avenue, from Harrison Street to Mulberry Street. Uptown is comprised of 12 to 16 volunteer board members and over 200 members.
