Union Hill Civic Association get-together next Wednesday

Meeting will include community updates, discussion, and a chance to get to know your Union Hill neighbors.

The Union Hill Civic Association will be hosting their monthly get-together on Wednesday, May 28 at Union Market beginning at 7:00 PM.

Attendees include Lt. Dan Minton of Sector 111 and Thomas Flynn, the Richmond City Traffic Engineer, who will be on hand to discuss the UHCA’s proposed redevelopment plan for  Jefferson Avenue.

According to UHCA’s website:

The sketch is a starting point for neighbors and the city to create a master-plan for Jefferson Avenue. This preliminary plan was developed with input from people like you, who during the past three UHCA monthly meetings, shared their ideas for improvements.

You can download a .PDF of their proposed plan here.

The Picnic Committee will also be on hand to discuss the UHCA’s community picnic on June 25.
