Two Lee’s

I have seen Lee’s Beauty Salon nearly everyday for the past 5 years but it wasn’t until today that I realized that the Lee’s are done differently, specifically the L. No great insight, just thought it was odd and wonder if there is a story behind the dueling Ls.
