The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports there’s a hot dog thief working in the VCU Monroe Campus area.

You’ve often heard about how the late-night munchies can be hard on your waistline.

Turns out they can be downright dangerous, as well.

Richmond police were investigating a robbery early yesterday in which the victim was forced to give the perpetrator two recently purchased hot dogs.

The victim was not injured. His hot dogs, however, were not recovered.
