Three Dog Bakery closing shop

Ten years of selling doggie treats at Stony Point Fashion Park coming to an end.

From RTD:

Holden said the business is for sale to an entrepreneur prepared to convert the business to a franchise. She has a local broker handling the sale, she said, and encouraged prospective buyers to contact her at the store.

“I would love it if someone would buy this store and continue the business,” she said. “We have great customers — a great following. … We love our four-legged customers — and our two-legged customers, as well.”

The store, located near the Dick’s Sporting Goods, should close in October. She will begin to liquidate inventory this week and said the store will continue to offer fresh-baked treats while it is open.

Could be a great opportunity for the right dog lover.

More from their Facebook page:

Going out of business . . . It is with heavy heart that I must share the news that we will be closing our doors. Our TML is ending with Three Dog Bakery and we have decided not to join their franchise team.

While we have enjoyed 10 years of a successful operation, it never would have been possible without our loyal customers (2 and 4 legged), our dedicated staff, as well as our shared love for our furry friends. We love you all and will miss our store very much!!

With that said, we will start our going out of business sale on our accessories. We will continue to bake til the end. Please stop by so we can say “farewell” for now!
