Fan Village Walking Group every Tues and Sat

Join the Fan Village walking group’s charter walks on Tuesday and Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. (or both days) for a 30+/- minute walk (at an easy pace) through the Fan. We meet outside Starbuck’s at the corner of Robinson & Stuart.

City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Frequency
Typically the second and fourth Monday of each month; 6:00-8:30 p.m. (With the exception of August, when no Formal meetings are held, and holidays)

JRA rain barrel workshop

The James River Association will be hosting a rain barrel workshop at Ellwood Thompson’s. All participants will make a barrel to take home. Space is limited to 20 people and pre-registration is required. Cost: $65 fee per barrel.
1st District Meeting

Councilman Bruce Tyler will hold a meeting in the West End 1st District on Tuesday, July 24 from 6:30-8PM in the Mary Munford Elementary School auditorium.
