If you missed the first meeting to discuss the community garden planned for the Museum District, it’s not too late.

There will be a meeting at the Humphrey Calder Community Center at Patterson and Thompson at 7 pm on Thursday October 16th to continue the planning of a community garden at that lot in conjunction with Tricycle Gardens, Ellwood Thompson’s and the City of Richmond. We have met a couple of times and are ready to start breaking into committees such as fundraising, construction, compost, site planning, etc to get the ball rolling. We have had a great turn out so far and would love to get more people involved.

If you’re unable to attend the meeting, but would like information or to join in the next meeting please contact mmoran623 (at) gmail (dot) com.
