The Cordial Cricket (formerly known as Paper with Style in Old Towne Petersburg) opened its new store located in Festival Park at Chester Village with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, August 29th. The ribbon cutting event was attended by representatives from the Retail Merchants Association, local media, numerous loyal customers, friends, family and other local business owners.
The stylish shopping boutique, the first retail store to occupy the newly developed Festival Park at Chester Village, relocated their store from their original location in Old Towne Petersburg in response to their growing business and need for a larger retail space. “We are thrilled to open our new, much larger location in Chester. This location truly offers us the space we need to accommodate the needs of our customers,” stated The Cordial Cricket’s owner, Elizabeth Howard.
The Cordial Cricket, which offers custom invitations, stationery and gifts for all, is known for providing its customers with an exceptional shopping experience that leaves them coming back for more. The Cordial Cricket, which was already an authorized retailer of reputable lines such as Crane & Co. fine stationery, has now added many new designer lines to its larger store location. In addition to more products and a more spacious shopping environment, The Cordial Cricket will now offer a gift registry for both its bridal customers and regular shoppers who would like to register to receive gifts they personally select. “The addition of our gift registry program is just another example of the high level of personal service that our customers receive and enjoy,” stated Howard.
Despite the store’s wide variety of stocked products, The Cordial Cricket can also special order stationery, invitations and gifts to meet their customers’ unique needs. “I truly believe it’s our service that draws repeat customers and sets us apart from other boutique stores or invitation retailers in Richmond,” stated Howard.
