One of the developments in Richmond in 2007 worth noting on the way out has been the spread of the neighborhood news blogs. Based on the energy and community that *you* have brought to this humble website, the idea took hold in 13 other areas around town from the Museum District to Shockoe/Tobacco Row/Manchester. As much as people thank me for running this site when we meet, I know that it is the community that makes this such a lively and useful corner of the internet. Thank you for your tips, questions, and comments – please keep them coming! 2007 was a tremendous year around here and I’m looking forward to seeing what 2008 brings.
