Style Weekly has a few new details on the wholesale staffing changes that happened earlier this month at Lakeside’s Zed Cafe:

It’s never pretty when a staff, including a high-profile chef, walks out of a restaurant all at once, but internal politics pushed Bill Foster and others over the edge this month and a little coup d’état followed. The café gained a big reputation under Foster’s guidance — he’s catering elsewhere for now — and chef Nancy Cohen, owner of the former Café Mandolin, steps in with a new staff and a new fall menu, now being served. The restaurant’s farm-to-table mission remains unchanged, and its former staff is finding work at other restaurants around town.
