St. John’s Church closed for most of January

But soon after it reopens, America’s first president will be in attendance.

St. John’s Episcopal Church will be closed from January 1st – 28th.

The next church event will be on February 17th and will feature George Washington talking about his life to celebrate his 282nd birthday. There will also be a self-guided scavenger hunt in the graveyard. Tickets are $5.

That day’s schedule:

  • George Washington presentation • 11:00 – 11:30 AM
  • Cake and refreshments • 11:45 AM
  • George Washington presentation • 1:00 – 1:30 PM.
