Speed limit drop on part of Riverside Drive

Slow down Speed Racer.

According to Councilman Parker C. Agelasto (who was also the Patron of the ordinance)  ORD. 2016-096 was approved last night and at some point in the near future we’ll see the speed limit on Riverside Drive between West 20th Street and Hillcrest Road drop from 35 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour.

I assume this map is inaccurate. They must be talking about Hillcrest across from the Reedy Creek put in. Wouldn’t make sense to keep it 35 from there to 28th.

  2. Good catch. I’ve updated the map.

I really wish we could lower the speed limit along Riverside between Pony Pasture and the Huguenot Bridge. I know this has been brought up in years past, but nothing has ever come of it.
