The Richmond SPCA’s 7th Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 21. It features a competitive 5K Run; a pet-friendly 1-mile Dog Jog; a vendor fair; and the Holiday Barn Pet Resorts hospitality garden:

Participants may register individually or as part of a team, and have the option of raising pledges to help support the pets cared for by the Richmond SPCA. In 2008 this event raised more than $100,000 for their care, and we look forward to meeting or exceeding that goal in 2009! Registered participants can customize their own fundraising web pages and send e-mails to friends and family. Raising pledges is easier than you might think, and top pledge raisers will earn great prizes!

We also welcome all Richmond SPCA supporters to come out on March 21, cheer on our runners and walkers, and visit our vendor fair and hospitality garden. All events take place at our Robins-Starr Humane Center, located at 2519 Hermitage Road in Richmond, Virginia.
