Short Pump Town Center hosting grand illumination this evening
The evening also marks the arrival of Santa and an assortment of other holiday characters.
Richmond’s biggest outdoor mall is hosting its annual grand illumination event tonight to ring in the holidays. Short Pump Town Center will light its 60-foot Christmas tree (and 22-foot reindeer) on the main plaza at 7:00 PM.
The evening also marks Santa’s arrival. The jolly old elf will arrive alongside other holiday mascots who will roam the mall including The Gingerbread Boy, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Frosty the Snowman, Toy Soldier, and Dancing Tree in a parade through the plaza.
Live music will accompany the event.
