Collection points include: Walnut Hill Pharmacy, Walnut Hill Cleaners, Petersburg Public Library, Heavenly Hands Restaurant off of Halifax Street, Tabernacle of Praise Fellowship, Good Shepherd Baptist Church, and other businesses and churches in the city.
The teen hopes to collect 1,000 boxes to supplement what is currently available for the Headstart and Virginia Preschool Initiative students at Westview.
The Book Drive runs throughout this week. For more information about the Book Drive, contact Ms. Booker at 862-8980 daytime or 732-2872 in the evening.
