Seven Stars Asian Cuisine & Lounge now open in Short Pump

Sushi, noodle bowls, fried rice dishes, and more can be found in the former home of a cabinetry company.

A new sushi bar and Asian fashion restaurant has opened its doors in Short Pump. Seven Stars Asian Cuisine & Lounge, which held a soft opening in mid-December, plans to host its grand opening celebration on January 8th.

Owned by sisters Jennifer Chen and Nancy Liu, Seven Stars took over the space formerly occupied by Old River Cabinets, a company that went bankrupt in 2012, in the Short Pump Station shopping center near Trader Joe’s.

The restaurant’s menu features a whole host of sushi and sashimi, as well as traditional soups, salads, as well as curry, fried rice, and noodle dishes. Photos of the full menu can be found on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The restaurant features a dark, modern interior with a lounge-like feel, lighted panels, and an open mezzanine.

Seven Stars Asian Cuisine & Lounge is located at 11331 West Broad Street and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM – midnight, and Sunday from noon until 10:00 PM.
