Compared to that, the architectural styles on display in Union Hill are downright tame, with antebellum frame cottages and two-story Italianate-style row houses dominating the mix.

The stylistic exception is Princess Anne Avenue, which lies near the historic district’s southern border and seems to have been transplanted from another neighborhood altogether.
