Admission: $13 per person includes a movie and genuine Italian fare. All-day passes $35 (available in advance starting Jan. 10, at Video Fan, 403 N. Strawberry St. – includes all four movies with food, beverages sold separately.)

Schedule

11 a.m.: “Antony and Cleopatra” (director: Enrico Guazzoni, 1913, 85 min.)
The classic tale of passion, silent with live score by music professor James Doering, Randolph-Macon College.

2 p.m.: “Ossessione” (director: Luchino Visconti, 1942, 135 min.) Banned for years in and outside of Italy, based on James M. Cain’s Postman Always Rings Twice.

5 p.m.: “The Icicle Thief” (director: Maurizio Nichetti, 1989, 85 min.) A major art-house hit here in the U.S., and one of the funniest comedies ever to come out of Italy.

8 p.m.: “The Orange Thief” (director: Boogie Dean, Vinnie Angel, Artie Wilinski, 2007, 84 min.)
Audacious, dark comic tale of young Sicilian who would do anything to own a piece of land. Co-director Mr. Angel will introduce his film and do a Q & A after the screening.
