Richmond Triangle Players presents ‘5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche’

The provocative comedy rolls into Scott’s Addition February 18th.

The creative, quirky souls behind Richmond Triangle Players are bringing the Broadway show ‘5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche’ to their theatre in Scott’s Addition in February. The performance, cited as “smart, sharp and hysterically funny” by Time Out Chicago, opens February 19th, with a special preview night February 18th.

A synopsis and more info from Richmond Triangle Players:

It’s 1956, and the double threat of Communism and the atomic bomb loom large. The Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein, all self-described widows, are having their annual quiche breakfast.

Society members include the entire audience, who will be given name tags to prove it. Will they be able to keep their cool when Communists threaten their idyllic town?

‘5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche’ is sure to be one of the egg-ceptionally hilarious evenings you will spend in the theater.

Featuring Maggie Bavolack, Amy Berlin, Jennifer Clevenger, Liz Earnest and Danielle Williams.

Opens Thursday, February 19th at 8:00 PM, and plays Thursday-Saturday evenings through March 14th, with Sunday matinees March 1st and 8th at 4:00 PM. Low-priced preview Wednesday, February 18th at 8:00 PM.
