A discussant at the conference Media Re:Public (a conference convened by the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society — the focus is on participatory media) has brought to our attention that the community of ‘hoodblogs and blog aggregators in the Richmond area lead the nation “by far and away.” Here is report that the Project for Excellence in Journalism has completed on such sites, which is among the conference’s Background Materials.
