Reynolds Crossing Walmart opens tomorrow; Starbucks, Chipotle, Salad Works in the works

The new 90,000 square foot Walmart on Forest Avenue opens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 AM tomorrow, May 21, 2014. Regular store hours will be 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM daily.

CBRE also announced that construction is underway on the rest of the The Shoppes at Reynolds Crossing, at the corner of Forest and Glenside:

The new building is 70% leased with leases from Starbucks, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Hair Cuttery, Ntelos Wireless, Lee Nails and Salad Works. The project was designed by Freeman & Morgan Architects and financed by Park Sterling Bank. The opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015…

Additionally a 40,000 SF two-story office building is under construction at Reynolds Crossing along West Broad St. to be occupied by Sheltering Arms and First Tennessee Bank.

The Reynolds Crossing Master Plan is viewable here, and a little bit of trivia: Reynolds Crossing was dubbed “Richmond’s New Midtown” by Reynolds Development.
