Siné

Richmond’s favorite Irish establishment is throwing down for DAYS to celebrate this year. Bands, food, and (of course) Irish beverages – sure to be a good time. Featured performers include Seven Nations on Friday, and Three-O, Sloth Loves Chunk, DJ Williams Projekt, and Broken Monday on Saturday. Festivities start Friday, March 12 and run through St. Patrick’s Day when they’ll be serving up Irish fare and raising a pint (or few) in honor of Ireland’s patron saint. There’s a $5 cover after 1pm and for band performances.

Capital Ale House 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

These folks are throwing down at all four locations (three of which are around here). They’ll have over 10 different Irish and Scottish ales on tap, a menu made up of traditional Irish fare, and tons of festive music.

Enjoy music from The Havers, Donny Brooks, The Janet Martin Band, Glenn Crone & Marge, Greater Richmond Pipers, and more! Festivities start at 3pm on Saturday, March 13 and run off and on through St. Patty’s Day. See website for details.

Rare Old Times Public House

Enjoy a buffet, drink specials, and music from tons of live bands all day long. The folks we talked to promised a HUGE celebration, so you city folks might want to consider making the treck out to the West End for this one. The good times start at 12pm and you can purchase tickets ($1 a piece to be used throughout the day) at the door.

Rosie Connolly’s Pub Restaurant

Want a legit Irish experience? Stop by this favorite downtown spot to enjoy some great brews and great Irish cuisine. They’ll open midday on St. Patrick’s Day and stay that way until 2am

Expect a live DJ from 4pm to 8pm, crazy party favors, great food, and drink specials. They’re also doing a Shockoe Slip Walk with Bank who will be offering good times of a similar sort.
