WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Robert C. “Bobby” Scott will host a Town Hall meeting on Green Jobs and Clean Energy in Richmond. President Barack Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan makes substantial investments in green jobs and clean energy.
Congressman Scott will be joined by a panel of experts and business leaders on green jobs and clean energy. “Our economy is struggling and President Obama and Congress are making long overdue investments in preparing America for the 21st century economy,” said Rep. Scott. “This town hall will be an excellent chance for constituents of the third district to hear from experts and business leaders and learn about green jobs, clean energy and how this growing industry will transform our economy and create new jobs.”
