The City of Richmond is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Recycling Event. The event will be held this Saturday at the Diamond from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

You do not need to be a resident of the City of Richmond to recycle your electronic items at a single-day collection. Payment for fees on select items payable by cash or check to Advanced Technologies.

Most items are accepted at no charge, but fees are charged to recycle televisions, computer monitors and compact fluorescent light bulbs. These items require special handling due to the leaded glass and mercury they contain. Please refer to the payment options listed for each event (items without a fee listed have no charge to recycle).
