The women’s basketball team is the third seed in the CAA tournament that starts Thursday in Newark, Del. The Rams play on Friday at 2:30 against the winner of a Thursday game between Northeastern and George Mason.
Baseball is on the road early this week and then home for games Friday-Sunday at The Diamond against Manhattan. Game times are 7 p.m, 2 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Both tennis teams are taking trips during spring break. The women are in Las Vegas, where they will play UNLV on Friday and Pepperdine on Sunday. The men are in Montgomery, Ala., for the Blue-Gray National Invitational that runs Thursday-Sunday.
The men’s and women’s track teams will be at SportsBackers Stadium this weekend for the five-team Rams Invitational. Also participating are William and Mary, Richmond, Wagner and Mount St. Mary’s. Events run from noon-6:30 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.
The Alltel Pavilion at the Siegel Center will be the site this week of the Virginia High School League basketball playoffs. Four games are set Tuesday-Thursday, six for Friday and Saturday.
