RAIN DATE: Innsbrook’s St. Paddy’s Palooza moved to Sunday

The popular event drew a crowd of over 10,000 people last year.

A popular Innsbrook event celebrating St. Patrick’s Day has moved to this Sunday due to the threat of inclement weather.

St. Paddy’s Palooza, which takes place each year at the Innsbrook Pavilion, will be held from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 15th.

Festival goers will be treated to live music, bands, food, ice cream, Irish dancers, pony rides and a hot air balloon. Attendance exceeded over 10,000 people in 2014.

A bit more family oriented than some of the other St. Patrick’s Day festivals around town, the event will also feature face painting, photo booths, a petting zoo, inflatables, and airbrush tattoos.

Live entertainment will be provided by the Cary Street Ramblers, Flat Elvis, members of Honky Tonk Heroes, Thistle and Shamrock Irish dancing, and Crossroads Irish Dance Troupe.

Food vendors from the Innsbrook area such as The Grapevine, Sticks, Gregory’s Grill, Joey’s Hot Dogs, and The Paris Creperie will be serving up food all day.

And as always, participants can sign up to have their heads shaved on stage in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Spectators can donate and watch as individuals fundraise to support the fight against childhood cancer.

The Innsbrook Pavilion is located at 4901 Lake Brook Drive, off Nuckols Road in Glen Allen.
