Programs For Older Adults Offered At Huguenot Road Baptist Church
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreation opportunities for adults 50 and older at Huguenot Road Baptist Church, 10525 W. Huguenot Road. Enjoy games, healthy-aging programs, fitness classes, entertainment and more. Musical Entertainment and Potluck Monday, March 2, 11 a.m. Join us for a performance by Jubilation, a singing group from Salisbury Presbyterian Church. Music will include show tunes, patriotic songs and oldies. A potluck luncheon will follow at noon. Bring a dish to share. Beginner Yoga Mondays, March 16-April 20, 9-10 a.m. This form of yoga for seniors improves posture and balance. Practice gentle stretches and breathing. Bring a yoga mat or towel. A limited number of yoga mats will be provided. Cost is $40. Register by March 9 by calling (804) 339-2877. Games, Cards and Coffee Mondays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Join fellow game enthusiasts to play tabletop and card games such as pinochle, canasta, bridge and dominoes.
