The principal of the Richmond Technical Center, N. Mauricee Holmes, has been named the 2008 Outstanding Administrator of the Year by the Virginia Association for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences. From a Richmond Public Schools news release:
During her eight-year tenure at RTC, Holmes launched a partnership with the culinary arts department at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College that now includes a dual enrollment course for Richmond City students.
Holmes received her award at the association’s annual meeting held earlier this year in Roanoke.
The Richmond Technical Center is the career and technical training educational facility for Richmond Public Schools.
