Police seeking suspects in smash and grab jewelry store robbery

Robbery took place Monday evening at the Jared at Short Pump Town Center.

Henrico Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for the robbery of a Short Pump Town Center jewelry store.

On Monday evening around 5:15 PM, Henrico Police learned of a robbery in progress at Jared near Short Pump Town Center, at 11700 West Broad Street. Reports were received that three male suspects entered the store and smashed jewelry cases with hammers.

The individuals removed assorted jewelry and fled the store. The three were seen getting into a vehicle, which was parked in front of the business, with a male in the driver’s seat. The vehicle exited the parking lot and disappeared near hhgregg and Chipotle.

The suspects are described as black males, 5’6’-5’10”, 140-180 pounds, and between 20 and 30 years old. The vehicle’s driver was described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, wearing all dark clothing. The vehicle was described as a blue or green four door Ford Taurus from the late 1990s or early 2000s.

At this time, no surveillance photos are available for release.
