Police seek Walmart firebug

At approximately 12:24 p.m. on April 29, officers responded to a report of arson at Walmart, located at 2401 Sheila Lane.

The Richmond Police Department and Richmond Fire Investigation’s Unit need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the attached photo, who lit a fire inside Walmart late last month.

At approximately 12:24 p.m. on April 29, officers responded to a report of arson at Walmart, located at 2401 Sheila Lane. Surveillance video from the store shows the suspect lit a small fire on a shelf and left the aisle.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” tall with spiky hair. He was wearing a bright orange sweatshirt at the time of the incident.
