Police Investigate Woman’s Death
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a pond near her home in the Hampton Park subdivision early today. Police said the 85-year-old victim was reported missing this morning after she wandered away from her home in the 7900 block of Hampton Glen Terrace. The victim suffered from medical problems. Shortly after officers arrived, the victim’s body was located in a pond in the 16000 block of Hampton Glen Lane. The cause of death will be determined following a forensic exam by the State Medical Examiner’s Office. Police continue their investigation.
