Class of 2008 Petersburg High School graduates Kiya Haskett, Kiara Johnson, Maurice Jackson, Shari Johnson and April Giles have all been awarded four year scholarships by the Petersburg High School Student Scholarship Committee. Awards were made at the annual Awards Day Program by Chairman Joan F. Walker and committee member Hermanze Fauntleroy. The scholarships are for $1,000 initially, followed up by $750 per year based on the students maintaining a C average or better.
